OUR STORY
Rebecca, Audrey and Alison have been friends for over 15 years. With a background in the medical and fashion industries, each have run their own businesses and juggled work, life and motherhood together.
Dr Audrey and Alison Shen are identical twins and have been veterinarians for over 15 years. The twins have owned and operated hospitals and rescue centres within NSW and own a successful mobile vet business 'Aussie Mobile Vet' throughout Australia. Dr. Alison is also the owner of The Acupuncture Vet in Brisbane. They are both featured on the international TV series, Bondi Vet (also known as Vets On The Beach in the USA).
Rebecca Lau Marsh is our fashion designer who has made a significant impact in the fashion and eCommerce industries with brands including Love My Baby and White Runway. Her last eveningwear business was sold to a publicly listed fashion company who owned brands including Review, Lonsdale and Jets Swimwear. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of dressing celebrities including Eva Longoria, Jeannie Mai, Lauren Jauregui, Adrienne Bailon, Sophie Monk, Carrie Bickmore, Jessica Rowe, and many more.
An opportunity arose for all three ladies to collaborate their knowledge when complaining about the disappointing range of medical scrubs available.
21 Scrubs was formed when Audrey and Alison noticed a real gap in the market and joined forces with Rebecca to create a fashionable, practical and innovative scrubs brand to disrupt the current market which consists of ill-fitting scrubs.
"Being working mums and veterinarians, we understand the importance of wearing long lasting, durable, stain, hair and waterproof clothing. However practicality doesn't mean you have to compromise looking fashionable. We wanted to create work wear with an "all day to night look", work wear that you can wear out after work or be seen out of work in. Work wear that you can move in, feel comfortable and of course flatter all shapes and sizes."
21 Scrubs is dedicated to pushing boundaries and infusing everyday scrubs with fun and fashion. Our core designs are original, tested, and exclusively ours. We hope you enjoy wearing them as much as we enjoy making them.

Our goal is to listen to these professionals and provide them with functional, practical, durable and sytlish workwear.

Now more than ever, we need to support our health professionals, our essential workers that have supported us through these challenging times. Extensive research, testing and trialing has gone into each and every piece with collaboration from experts in both the health and fashion industry.
