Ovarian Cancer awareness month.
Why we're stepping up.
Every February, people around the globe unite to turn the spotlight on a critical issue — ovarian cancer. At 21 Scrubs, our commitment to raising awareness and supporting ovarian cancer initiatives is deeply personal. As a company founded and led by three women, the battle against ovarian cancer hits close to home, not just as a cause we support, but as a mission we are deeply passionate about.
WHY OVARIAN CANCER?
Ovarian cancer remains one of the deadliest cancers for women, primarily because it often goes undetected until it's too late. The symptoms are notoriously vague, and there's no routine screening test available. That's why awareness is so powerful — it can literally save lives by prompting earlier diagnosis and treatment.
Our involvement.
Throughout February, we participate in various activities and campaigns designed to educate and inform, while also raising much-needed funds for research and patient support. We encourage everyone to learn about the symptoms, talk to their doctors, and consider their risks. Knowledge is power, and in the case of ovarian cancer, it's also potentially lifesaving.
What We Do.
- Fundraising: Each year, we launch exclusive campaigns where a portion of our sales is directed to ovarian cancer research and support groups. Our fundraising page details our goals and tracks our progress.
- Education: We use our platform to share information about ovarian cancer, including symptoms, risk factors, and ways to support those affected. We believe that the more people know, the greater the impact we can have.
- Community Engagement: From hosting events to participating in walks and runs, we engage with communities to foster a support network for those touched by ovarian cancer.
The Impact of Your Support.
Every purchase, every share, and every conversation about ovarian cancer can lead to better outcomes. By choosing to shop with us during February, you're not just buying a product — you're contributing to a cause that supports women's health on a grand scale.
Moving Forward.
As we look to the future, our resolve only strengthens. We're motivated by the stories of survivors, the research breakthroughs, and the community that stands together in the face of this disease. Join us in wearing teal, the color of ovarian cancer awareness, and in making a difference that extends beyond just one month of the year.
